The show ran long and had to be divided up once again. Not to mention it took me two nights to get it done because I had to wrap the first night after 4 a.m. to get some sleep.

For more of the story I read about the expansion of the warrantless wiretapping, Obama Admin quietly expands Bush’s legal defense of warrantless wiretapping.

I just came from a AR cook out and promoted the show, I am glad a new one just pooped up.
we were ranting veganism and environment crap for hours, I is like a real retreat to be with lots of like minded folks like listing to this show!
Hi Angry hippie/ Rob. Loved the podcast. I liked that it was so long too. I don’t really follow news or politics, so your podcast is a nice information source. I have listened to your latest podcast about four times, as I was working at the same time and kept missing parts by not being able to concentrate on it. Nice to hear that things are going well for you right now.
I was following the American presidential election a little and I was among those who thought Obama would come in and change things. He was the better of the two candidates, but it’s sad to hear that he is not making a bigger impact to end the war.
I have also gotten a bad impression of the American army, especially when they go abroad. Seems like all sense of right and wrong goes out the windows as soon as they leave the American soil. Have you by the way seen the movie “In the valley of Elah”? It’s about a father looking for his son who was suppose to have come home from the war in Iraq, and during his search finds out that his son was involved in torturing prisoners.
I just don’t understand how people can be so heartless, to do things like that to other humans, not to mention other beings (referring to animal torture).
It’s actually refreshing to hear someone question the system and I agree with most of what you say. I am though, completely against the death penalty, but I agree that it’s wrong of them to execute on person, but let another one, who is proven guilty, live.
Oh, I was also happily surprised to hear my letter/message read in the podcast =)
Anyway, sorry for the unorganized letter. Thanks and keep up the good work.
All the best, Michaela (Micki)
