Hey there, this is J. I’m an Aussie Vegan, referred to you podcast via VeganFreaks. I just wanted to give you massive kudos for mentioning John Howard’s defeat. Not only did Rudd take his pace as prime minister, but Ms McKew took his seat in parliament.
I’m sure this makes no difference to Mister Howard as he planned to retire after re-election and hand the government over to Costello (eep! thats a seriously frightening idea, believe me), but to us Green party and Labour party supports that won over the election, it makes us very happy. I voted Green, the Greens preference Labour and now we have a hopefully a much more balanced government to work with. If Howard stayed in power, I was considering moving overseas!
Sorry you Americans have to endure “Turkey Day” *shudder*. I’m relieved that national holidays over here, whilst usually include the great AUSTRALIAN BBQ, they holidays themselves historically are usually to do with war, or Australia finally becoming “independent” of England, etc.
Yay for KEVIN07. Good luck next election for you guys with Bush. I’m enjoying your podcast, and I will be sure to link you on my up-and-coming site.

Oh god, yes. I burned this to an MP3 CD (friend has an MP3 player on her CD player), and gave her a copy. She just didn’t “get” why Holidays can be so frustrating for vegans. You said it quite well.

Found you when vegan freaks mentioned you on their podcast, can’t wait to listen to more of your stuff. I don’t feel so alone in my thoughts and beliefs when I have people like you saying what I feel, so thanks for that SO MUCH!
