Congratulations on your work being featured at the conference. I’d love to read or hear the poem that you wrote. I bet it’s amazing! Your words are very powerful, and in my eyes (as well as Jim’s) YOU are a Difference Maker! I’m glad that you have the balls to tell it like it is.

Unfortunately, we haven’t stopped the local government from being cruel and inhumane. They still have traps set, and I’m not sure if they have captured anyone yet. There has been a heavy police presence in the area. We’ve tried contacting the Animal Legal Defense Fund, but there is no way to talk to a live person so we’ve sent them email as well as emailing an attorney who is head of an animal right’s chapter. So far, no response from either. Thank you very much for talking about the plight of this cat colony. We are both very honored.
