I'm humbled by your comments once again...

I feel bad about the West Memphis Three because I was in Arkansas when it happened, but then I just forgot about the story years later. I only hope it's not too late for people to make this happen.

Abstinence only programs are the most fucked up thing to come into our schools since me. I hate it when the ignorant push ignorance.

Thanks again!

This episode was truly wonderful. You talked about a lot of good points, but still kept the general humor that one expects from the Angry hippie podcast.

It's very rare to hear about anyone who knows about the West Memphis 3 and is also willing to talk about it. You did this wonderfully, giving information and the incentive for people to start supporting this cause. It was also nice to hear about the current education system, especially the abstinence only policies nowadays. I was lucky enough to get out of school in the 90's (I was self-taught), but I know many kids around my age that I've had to explain sex too, and "safer sex" practices due to these programs in our schools. It would be nice if we didn't have to rely on schools to teach children these things, but it's either books or school, since, as you said, parents in todays Christian society won't talk about these things (no offense to the Christians out there).

This podcast defiantly proved that vegans aren't all about the non-human animals, but about the human ones too. Very good job.
