I did some research on Thomas Jefferson. His letter to Danbury was actually addressing keeping the government out of the churches business. That is what he meant by the wall of separation.

Congrats to you, brother! In my vision, it will go on until..." you've landed on the guerrilla signal being podcast live from the nursing home...." for as long as there are humans, there will be dumbasses to fuck it up for the rest of us. and the only one who can rant more than an angry hippie, is an old angry hippie.

you write books too? holy shit, man! youre busier than a one legged man in an ass kicking contest! compared to you, im lazier than carpet.

thanks for all you do and inspiring me to give a shit in a seemingly hopeless world.

I found your podcast a year after it has started, and I love it. I love it so much and I'm SO glad I got here in time for the million mad march. I'm vegan too, and I love looking up to the many rolemodels I have on the internet such as yourself or the vegan freaks. A book is something I can't wait for. I've listened to almost all of your episodes on my long bikeride to and from work almost every day and it makes my ride even more fun than it already is. Listening to your or the vegan freak podcast is my reward for riding to work in nasty weather.

I had a question when it comes to Million mad. May I march in my city? It's a small city, in canada no less. But the problems with canadian and american politics are often times laterally bonded.

I love your podcast, never let bad times stifle your voice.

Great episode as usual. I've been sorely missing your podcast during the past month thanks to a virus knocking out my computer - but I'm back and trying to get caught up. Since this now an old episode, I'll keep my commnent short...

Have you read Ishmael by Daniel Quinn? It's a great look at how western culture can not be sustained indefinitely. It also takes a look at how our history, primarily through the Bible, can be viewed as metaphors for different cultural shifts in humanity's view of the environment. Excellent read.

When ever my conservative friends preach to me about how un-patriotic it is to criticize your government and to not follow it blindly, I remind them of another blindly patriotic nation in world history... Nazi Germany. I think we all know how that ended.

Being a former high school biology teacher, I particularly enjoyed the Ask Science Dude segment. I taught in Florida where were not allowed to teach "evolution" but rather "Change over time" (what's that say for their confidence in students' intelligence not to pick up on the semantics). Still, it never ceized to amaze me how many students would be presented with the evidence and then say something like, "we'll I believe animals evolve, but not humans." Needless to say, I had to quit and leave Florida before my head exploded.

Peace and love. Gotta go (still have two more episodes to listen to).

Hey Rob, Thanks for doing the podcast. I love it, my mother is hooked on it, and I recommend it to everyone I know. It gives me hope to hear someone being so angry and articulate all at once. Here's to many more years of ranting!
